Homemade fabric softener, made with vinegar. Only vinegar, if you choose. Or add essential oil for fragrance. Great idea, it rinses all the detergent from laundry and cleans the washing machine.

Homemade Fabric Softener (I didnt add in the scent booster) -- 1 cup baking soda + 6 cups vinegar + scent booster mixture optional (1/4 - 1/2 cup crystals with 1 cup hot water, mix thoroughly)

Homemade fabric softener - I absolutely LOVE this! Works better than Snuggle, IMO - I did have an extremely faint smell of vinegar in my bath towels (not in the hand towels, washcloths, or any other article of clothing) I used Suave - since you can buy one bottle for a dollar - but really, you maybe save about two dollars....I would still choose this over store bought any day.
