The workroom is shared by several staff members.  It has a glass front so the public can see this area.  The Director's office opens off the workroom.

We created a space for the YA collection in the former reference area.  We've integrated our remaining reference books into the nonfiction collection and are more likely to use online sources now.

The magazine wall and shelves run parallel to a wall of windows, so the stack closest to the windows blocks the light.  I want to eliminate the magazine wall and turn the stacks so they are perpendicular to the windows.

This was formerly an office and is now used as a quiet room, meeting room, and passport application room.  This library became a Passport Application Acceptance Agency in May of 2011.  This is the only truly quiet space we have to offer patrons.

This is a quieter area located away from the circulation desk.  Unfortunately, there are no electrical outlets available in this space, and the cost of adding outlets was estimated at nearly $1,000 per outlet, due to 8 inch concrete floors and the cinder block construction of the building.
