Wrap electrical tape around the joint to hold it while the glue cures. I haven't repainted my bathroom since I learned about this, but this is a must for painting a bathroom.   Just glue a paint stick (free) to a paint pad and drape some plastic around your toilet and just repaint the area behind the tank and toilet with ease.  I do use the paint pads for doing corners and edges, so I know they paint like a dream.

Quick Fix for Loose Screws. You go to tighten a screw and it doesn't grab and draw tight. It spins or wobbles in the screw hole. Ttry using a larger or longer screw. If the screw still doesn't get a grip, or if the screwhead size is too large for either the hinge or the strike plate, try this solution.
