The island community of Alameda contains more historic Victorian homes per capita than any other city in the U.S. Built as a suburb of San Francisco in the 1880's-90's, the builders boasted that the train station was no more than a 3 minute walk from any house in the neighborhood.
A Cloudlike Master Bedroom The soft colors make this room feel like a soft cloud. With a hand-stitched French needlepoint headboard found at a flea market in France, and was used it to give history and individuality to a newly purchased Branwen canopy bed from Ironies. The Scudo Saraceno pendant light in a classic Venetian design is from Sue Fisher King.
