This is a great poster to have in the classroom, to remind students of the writing process, and it could also double as a clip chart, and track where the students are during the writing process.
After having 2 days off, we came back and did a huge writing project and wrote about our own snow day. Use the story elements of Who? Where? When? What? and How? into the story. We also did a story map together and made a class story to model the writing process of having a beginning, middle, and end to their story.
