Writing Center Ideas - I think this particular board would work great! Give each child one of the 7 writing styles each week then rotate through them until everyone has had a chance to do each one. This will teach them the format for each kind of writing as well as give them an opportunity to practice writing, grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.

Love the idea of putting examples of different types of writing. Must find space for a writing center.

Stack-able storage! I'm so going to make this out of old soup cans and use at my desk or at the writing center. Ok, I am finally over the edge - I am a total Pinterest addict!! This would be perfect in the writing center!

plain plastic cups, drill 2 holes in them and use zip ties through the peg board to keep them in place!

Desk organizer made from tin cans. The cans were decoupaged using Mod Podge, sealed, and glued together to form one unit. The floor of each can is lined with foam.

mail boxes for children in the writing center. My kids love to color; may be a nice way to store the oages separately from actual school work.

I could laminate this so it could be used with a dry erase marker throughout the year.
