Vintage TV- Sister you remember this???? Picture it now Di.....Daddy you and me lying on the floor watching this tv.......good times!

TVs came in cabinets, and often included a record player and radio, too. Note the Rabbit Ears antenna - we kids spent hours moving them up, down and sideways at our parents' direction, trying to bring in a perfect picture, and get rid of the static in the sound! (No such thing as a remote then - you had to get up and adjust things yourselves - that's why having a kid was useful : )

You were the remote control.

Welcome to the happy cottage of Flickr user devotedsatellite! She didn't have time to give us a tour herself, but I couldn't let this house go unnoticed. Luckily, it's jam-packed with cool stuff to look at, and the photos mostly speak for themselves.

Console tv we had one after our black & white tv died with smoke coming out of it one morning at breakfast.

I've always wanted to turn an old stand TV like this into a nightstand.

Really? Come on now...I need this, even though I don't really watch t.v.
