No Nightstand, No Problem Don't rush out to buy new furniture if your guest bedroom is missing a few pieces — just improvise. Designer Erinn Valencich brought in a weathered garden step to serve as a bedside table. Its rustic patina adds charm while the steps create display space.

I have no idea how to make this, but I love it. What a great way to display several pictures or bouquets rather than squeeze them all on your little nightstand.

If you like ladders, but thought it would be crazy to place them near the bed, here is your chance.

Scour thrift stores for old night stands or end tables. Repurpose them for Fido. Makes a kennel so much more attractive.

9. The Wall Bookmark Shelf Okay. I will take one of these in every room, please!! How perfect to keep track of that book you're diving into and keep it off the floor or from getting lost. This is probably my fave find of the pin!

DYI - Floating nightstand Perfect for bunk beds! Do two, one high and one low.

That night stand is really cute. Not sure that I have the woodworking skills to make it, but so cute.
