An awesome tip on distressing furniture without mess or fumes....all you need is spray paint, sandpaper and furniture marker!!!!

    Hi Kelsey! I love this and based re-furbishing my dresser using your method. I have one little problem and was wondering if you could hopefully help me out! I painted the wood and it's white, i sanded the edges and when I put the wool on the white paint it turns it grey from the wool!! I'm not sure what to do at this point to achieve a distressed look. Any pointers I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Great tips for updating old furniture (this project was done using spray paint!). Also gives tips on how to lightly distress the piece and then add a light coat of stain on the distressed parts. I love how simple and easy this idea is because afterall, spray paint is a crafter's best friend!-says pinner
