My place of pause is at Fort Funston, San Francisco, CA. It is my divine place of solitude; where the hawks fly above, the whales migrate below and the sun warms every part of your soul. I will sit on the cliff and meditate for a good hour. Then I will take photographs and/or journal. It’s a haven where I focus on embracing the present in order to find peace within. - Submitted by Gina M. Henderson

This is my place to pause. It’s called “Eagle Run” and it’s located in Brackendale, British Columbia. I love to run along the dyke by the river, and often stop to take in the view and to reflect. There’s a bench perfect for sitting and contemplating what’s on your mind. - Submitted by Catherine Trueman
