RedBall Project by Kurt Perschke who says, "As RedBall travels around the world, people approach me on the street with excited suggestions about where to put it in their city. In that moment the person is not a spectator but a participant in the act of imagination. That invitation to engage, to collectively imagine, is the true essence of the RedBall Project." photo of LaSalle Bridge, Chicaago/Rex Features via telegraph.co.uk #streetart #art #fun
"This old tree was falling down and the town council decided to fell it. But the people of Bideford had different ideas and rose up in rebellion against their council. In the end a local sculptor came to the rescue and sculpted a helping hand to hold the tree up, and the council held off with their plans to fell it." - yay townspeople!
