    Mom's (Dolores) oatmeal tea rolls: make little balls, 2 or 3 times as many as in this photo, which is not what they look like. 2 c boiling water 1 c oatmeal 3 T oil 1 pkg yeast or 2-1/4 tsp 1/3 c lukewarm water 2/3 c brown sugar 2 tsp salt 5-5-1/2 c flour Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Cool. Add oil, yeast dissolved in lukewarm water, sugar, salt. beat in flour to make a soft dough. Knead and let rise. Make into tea rolls. Let rise again until full rounded pan full. Bake 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees F. These are easy to make and form, and so very good, you will want to make at each holiday.
