Homemade Febreze: What you'll need: 1/8 Cup of fabric softener (I used Downy April Fresh) 2 tablespoons Baking Soda Hot tap water Spray bottle (I used my empty 27 oz. Febreze bottle) combine all in bottle, shake well and use! AWESOME!
Easy Upholstery Stain Remover: 1 cup Dawn blue dish soap, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup club soda, a heavy duty spray bottle, a scrub brush. I sprayed liberally over the stained areas and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Scrub in little circles over the stains. Use wet vac to remove moisture, repeat. Rinse with warm water and vacuum out again.
Mason jar air freshener - fill a small mason jar about 1/4 full with baking soda, and add 6-8 drops of your favorite essential oil. Punch holes in the lid, and place in any spot that could use some freshening. Every once in a while, give the jar a gentle shake to boost it's air freshening power.
DIY Grout Cleaner Grout Cleaner Combine 7 cups water, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1/4 cup vinegar - in a spray bottle and spray your floor, let it sit for a minute or two... then scrub!
Dr. Oz's Teeth Whitening Remedy - Make a paste of 1/8 cup baking soda + 1/2 tsp. lemon juice (1/4th of a lemon). Apply with a Q-tip. Leave on for 1 minute (no longer than this!). Then brush teeth to remove.
DIY Deodorizing Disks 2 cups baking soda 1 – 2 cups distilled water (or you can boil your water for 10 minutes.) Lavender essential oil (or whatever oil you choose. Citrus would be good too!) Silicone mold or muffin pan
Drain Cleaner: Pour 3/4-1 cup of baking soda in the drain. Pour 1/2 cup vinegar in the drain and immediately cover the drain (I use a plug or set a plate over it ) Leave everything to sit and work for about 30 mins (don’t use the sink during this time). After 30 mins, remove cover and run hot water thru the pipes for about 2-3 mins. for really tough clogs you may need to repeat.
