3 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
1 tbsp Baking powder
2 cups Brown sugar, packed light or dark
3 cups Brown sugar, packed dark or light
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Pinch Salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Whipped cream

Dairy

8 tbsp Butter, unsalted
1 1/2 lbs Butter, unsalted

Beer, Wine & Liquor

1 cup Brandy
3/4 cup Spiced rum, dark

    After Anne bakes the cake for this decadent and sweet dessert, she pokes holes on top so her toffee sauce can seep in throughout.

  • Brownie Theory

    Sticky Toffee Pudding - This is a big cake but it's very good! It's not super authentic as it should be made in ramekins so it comes out gooey and sticky toffee covered, but this will definitely wow a crowd. One thing- make the toffee sauce in a HUGE pan (not just large) and make sure it doesn't boil over. It takes longer than 15 minutes, because it's SIX sticks of butter (well worth it).
