Pair this classic beef stew with a loaf of crunchy bread, perfect for sopping up the gravy. Making in a slow-cooker keeps preparation simple and you out of the kitchen.

Beef Stew (sometimes I do half water/bullion and half V8 vegetable juice).

Beef stew.......This was really good. I used green beans instead of peas and added a little extra ketchup. Only thing I would really change, is to cook it for close to an hour more than it called for. Otherwise the meat won't be tender enough.
