The Best Chicken Fried Steak! I make a white pan gravy from the drippings, and I always make an extra steak to chop up and use in the gravy! I also make @Ree Drummond | The Pioneer Woman Womans Mashed Taters with this recipe (made with cream cheese, it is oh so good!) and tonight I am also making TPWs Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert! This is one of my hubbys fav meals!
Saute onions in 4 tablespoons butter over high heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until dark and caramelized. Reduce heat to simmer and pour in cream. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Stir in blue cheese until melted. Serve steaks on generous portion of sauce.
