Mexican Cemita Burger

30 mins to make • Makes 4 burgers

Meat

1 1/2 lbs Ground chuck

Produce

2 1/2 tbsp Adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers
1 clove Garlic
1 1/2 cups Hass avocado
4 very thin slices Red onion

Condiments

2 Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, large
2 tbsp Lime juice
1/2 cup Mayonnaise

Baking & Spices

1/8 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
1 Kosher salt
1 3/4 tsp Kosher salt

Bread & Baked Goods

1 Corn tortilla chips
4 Sesame seed buns

Dairy

6 oz Oaxacan cheese

Other

1/2 cup Mexican crema (can substitute creme fraiche)
5 Papalo leaves, finely minced (can substitute 1/4 cup cilantro sprigs, plus 2 tablespoons watercress leaves)
