    Popcorn with Herbs de Provence and Asiago Cheese: 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature 2 large cloves garlic, crushed 1 1/2 teaspoons dried herbes de Provence, crumbled 1/4 cup vegetable or peanut oil 1/2 cup popcorn kernels 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt 1/3 cup finely grated Asiago Combinebutter, garlic and herbes de Provence in a small saucepan. Cook over med-low heat until the butter melts. Remove from the heat and let stand while making the popcorn.
