2 (8-ounce) raw lobster tails, raw


1 Bay leaf
2 cloves Garlic
1/4 cup Parsley, leaves
2 Shallots, small

Canned Goods

2 tbsp Tomato paste

Pasta & Grains

1 lb Penne pasta

Baking & Spices

5 tbsp All-purpose flour
1 Black pepper, Freshly ground
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 Kosher salt
1/2 tsp Paprika, sweet

Bread & Baked Goods

1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs


4 tbsp Butter
2 cups Cheddar, sharp white
2 cups Gruyere
4 cups Heavy cream

Beer, Wine & Liquor

1/4 cup White wine

This is my favorite halibut recipe and the only modification I make is adding some red pepper flakes to the cream mixture before I add the cheese. If you do not like red pepper flakes, smoked paprika is a way to add some flavor while not making the dish "hotter".

Neely's Lemon Pasta Salad from Hosted another fabulous dinner party tonight and made this pasta dish as one of the sides. I used veggie pasta that was my only major change to the recipe. It would be awesome with whole wheat or quinoa too. Super easy to make, great results. I also love that it's not mayo based so it's healthier and would be great for picnics or sitting out.
