I love this idea. Could make this some kind of class competition. If they use all words at least a set number of times they get an extra recess (for example).

Cute for weekly vocab. Tally how many times someone uses a vocab. word correctly throughout the week. Have a word winner of the week. This is something the kids could track.

Great way to help students use a richer vocabulary in writing.

Interactive Word Wall --- this is a great idea for teaching students to spice up their writing. Can gather words from students' writing and then create a word wall for synonyms.

Word Catchers--asking kids to use vocab in a sentence would be great too

Word Catchers to teach Vocabulary. Fun way to get them to use their vocabulary! Every time you or a student hears someone using one of the words on the list, make a tally mark!

Textmapping is a graphic organizer technique that can be used to teach reading comprehension and writing skills, study skills, and course content.

Textmapping--this is such a useful idea when identifying vocabulary, key concepts, etc. in non-fiction reading.

This is a useful way for students to organize vocabulary words. Simply cutting the paper so it turns into a flap and shows the paper of the next page create a more fun a visually stimulating way of recording and practicing vocabulary words.
