For a very short time I remember having a Tetherball pole at my elementary school. I wasn't one to ever play but I would watch. I believe two or more people hit the ball on the string as hard and fast as you could and have it spin around the pole. And if you “accidently” hit someone with the ball — you got bonus points!!

I remember there being a tether ball on the playground of my elementary school. I was the champ, being tall and competitive. My kids have tether ball at their school, too. I'm still better than all the kids, LOL.

Rabbit ears!

Rabbit ears tv antenna - so you could get all 3 channels clearly. We all had these on top of our tvs. To make them better, you added tin foil.

Rubber pants to cover cloth diapers. We used cloth for about two days, then it was, screw the budget, and the environment.

Every one of my kids wore cloth diapers and rubber pants. Before the day of disposable diapers, cloth diapers were pinned on and then covered with waterproof pants which were referred to as "rubber pants.
