Not sure what I'd use it for, but it would certainly be a great way to bring back memories...and teach my children what a card catalog was. :)

A ship;s card catalog - a beautiful old card catalog, made from hardwood with fantastic original hardware.

I've always wanted one of these old library card files. What a great way to organize all the little things!

When I was little, I used to dream about living in a library. Obviously, the scene in Beauty and the Beast where Beast gives Belle a library is the best scene in any movie ever. So I need this vintage card catalog in my house.

Love everything about this: the fan, the suitcase, the basket, and most of all the old repurposed card catalog!

$2722 *sigh* I actually used to type (yes, I mean type as in typewriter) cards for these and then file them in college for the library (before they were called media resource centers, and I still remember the Dewey Decimal System. This breaks into 2 cabinets. Hope someone who loves it, buys it. Just beautiful and so much character. Think of all the "characters" that lived in this cabinet!

Vintage Card Catalog : 35 Drawer Wood Cabinet - If I had $1750 to spare, this would be mine.

My sister and I totally need a card catalogue piece in our house. @jodie Schlipf, we need to find something like this!
