    Dresser re-do. Modge podge lace onto the front of the drawers & then paint over the top. This looks more like textured wallpaper than lace; great idea either way.

AWESOME idea! So cool! could also just use stain to paint in the image on the transparency or both!! or use one of the many transfer techniques to paint the dresser solid and transfer the etching over top of it.. so many version of this - love the octo tho!

I love the idea of spray painting the antique handles a bright color....gives a totally new life to the dresser. Hard to believe it started as a flat front Ikea dresser!
