Preikestolen Rock, Norway Wow - steep! Isn't it a bit dangerous to be sitting on the edge like some of those people are doing? Really amazing photo though.

Preikestolen Cliff in Norway Preikestolen or Prekestolen, also known by the English translations of Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, and by the old local name Hyvlatonnå (“the carpenter-plane’s blade”), is a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau, in Forsand, Ryfylke, Norway.

One of the most famous tourist attractions in Norway, this massive 604 meter (1982 feet) tall cliff in Forsand, Norway is known by any of these five names: Preikestolen, Prekestolen, Preacher’s Pulpit, Pulpit Rock or Hyvlatonnå. Those who make the steep 3.8 km (2.4 mile) trek are treated to an amazing view over the Lysefjord. There is a lodge and a youth hostel nearby, and more accommodation can be found an hour away in the city of Stavanger.
