Curtains flank FP-GREAT ROOM In the great room, a Gregorius | Pineo ceiling light hangs above a Formations cocktail table, Christian Liaigre stools, and sofas custom-designed by Behnke in a Great Plains silk, with cushions in a Loro Piana linen; the curtains are in a Loro Piana cashmere-wool, the sconces are by Hervé Van der Straeten from Ralph Pucci International, and the carpet is by Tai Ping.
Materials matter. “In researching materials to build our house, we were happy to find that we could use a lot of existing resources,” says Gisele Bündchen. “In the end, 90 percent of the materials used to construct our house were reclaimed.”
