Ernest Hemingway loved Idaho. He sought refuge in Sun Valley and pursued his two other passions, hunting and fishing. And this began a 22 year relationship with the beauty and abundance and people of Sun Valley, Idaho. Sun Valley remembers Hemingway with an annual writers conference, a number of memorials, a wildlife preserve, and so much more. #hemingway #sunvalley

I learned never to empty the well of my writing, but always to stop when there was still something there in the deep part of the well, and let it refill at night from the springs that fed it. ~ Ernest #Hemingway #quotes
7 tips from #ErnestHemingway on how to write #Fiction
"A writer's problem does not change. He himself changes and the world he lives in changes but his problem remains the same. It is always how to write truly and having found what is true, to project it is such a way that it becomes a part of the experience of the person who reads it.'" --Ernest Hemingway

colorized-old-photos ~ An RAF pilot getting a haircut while reading a book between missions. Up until the 1970s, color photography was extremely rare, and so when we think about history prior to that time, we often envision it in black and white. Today’s technology now enables us to “colorize” historical photos, giving us our only chance at seeing what the world really looked like back then. And it was truly spectacular.
