pretty porch details - NOW I want these again. I had that trim on my front porch and had them taken off and now I'd give anything to have them back again. Wish I had kept them. (Why do I do things like that, that I latter regret???)

I've seen these Dutch doors used for a child's room or play room. Kind of like a baby gate so you can keep them from crawling all over the house but still be able to hear them playing.

Large columns, sweeping front porches, and balconies are typical of the Southern plantation home's design.
