A tried and true method. Cut scrap paper to the size of the frame and mark the nail location on the paper. Using painter's tape, move the paper templates around the wall until satisfied. Then hammer the nail through the marks. Remove the paper template and hang!

OMG!!!! this is AMAZING .... PURE GENIUS!!!!! A trick for hanging photo collections: Lay out your arrangement. Flip frames over. Lay waxed paper on top of frames. Mark hanger/nail spot on waxed paper. Flip waxed paper over and tape to wall, nail into wall where indicated. Tear down waxed paper. Hang photos.-- Found this ONE day after I spent HOURS hanging a "gallery wall"

Frame the key from your first home together - would be cute with a street map behind the key. Paint the key to match your room's color scheme with nail polish >> I need to try this out once we get our house! And I agree that a map behind it would be ideal... you could mark your home's location with a little heart or something ;-)

I think this is what I need to do in our family room above our TV with family pictures!!
