Ink rain: black silhouetted figures shield themselves from the downpour of vibrantly colored inks by Marc Allante Could I do this with crayon melts also?

{Put paint tape to cover the place to stencil, put paint filled balloons around canvas, pop with darts, let dry, use stencil to add silhouette} I'm thinking maybe crayon art instead??? Or water colors?

Marc Allante creates stunning ink paintings that border on the abstract. Nevertheless, he always adds a detail that offers some context to his artwork. For instance, one of Marc Allante's paintings revolves around splattered, dripping inks that fall on almost every inch of his canvas except for the couple huddling under a shared umbrella to escape the streaks of color raining down on them.

Deluge, by Marc Allante. Colorful Dripping Wet Ink Drawings. Black silhouetted figures shield themselves from the downpour of vibrantly colored inks in these drawings by Chinese and French artist Marc Allante. As splatters spread across the paper, Allante's figures find refuge under the cover of an umbrella. The self-taught artist works mainly with inks to create these calm and fleeting moments. popping paint filled balloons on a canvas ..... put paint tape to cover the place to stencil, put paint filled balloons around canvas, pop with darts, let dry, use stencil to add silhouette - love it! Or do the crayon melting thing!...very cute

Colorful Dripping Wet Ink Drawings Made with colored inks. The girl, umbrella and ground are stencils. Cover the stencilled area with tape (low tack) and then splatter inks or watered down paints onto the canvas and allow the paints to dribble down the canvas as if colored rain. This would make a wonderful gift for someone who likes art. Also can do this with melting crayons craft

This is a cool take on melted crayon art :)

❥ Designed by Denise Yezbak Moore/ Love this triple strand pearl? silver bead? necklace with the bronze contrasting pieces.

Paint an eye onto the canvas and then glue small pieces of crayon underneath it. Melt the crayons with a hair dryer and you'll get an effect like this!

Love the colors and fabrics in this baby quilt. I swear, one of these days, I am going to stop pinning quilts and actually try to make one.
