Scoop out ice cream into cupcake liners before a party, and keep in the freezer... Definitely did this for the party today and it made cake-cutting time go so much smoother. I do recommend the foil cupcake liners, though. And you don't need to use the cupcake pan.
party scoops - use a small ice cream scoop, dole out balls onto parchment lined cookie sheet, Insert a craft stick into each and place in freezer. Chill til hardened. Roll scoops in sprinkles, toasted coconut, crushed cookies or nuts, diced dried fruit or candies.Place in storage container in freezer til you are ready to party
