    Not a full time vegetarian but I always have a block or two in the freezer, great sub for meat in stir fry, chili, taco, or curry, soaks up flavors like a dream and a great chewy texture!

    I don't think it should be avoided, just eaten in moderation. ODing on isoflavones isn't healthy, but heck, you can die from drinking abnormally large amounts of water.

Good way to cut and cook Tofu - can go with seasoning, etc on this page, but mostly want to remind me & I add my own seasonings, etc

Tofu Burger (marinaded in EVOO, vinegar, garlic, rosemary, & maple syrup)

Hot Sweet Orange Tofu 15 oz pkg firm tofu, drained & pressed 4 T soy sauce 4 T orange marmalade or brown sugar 1 1/2 T lemon juice 1 T sriracha or any other hot chili sauce 1 T chopped mint or cilantro for garnish *Made using brown sugar, instead of marmalade, OJ & honey instead of chili sauce & added crushed red pepper flakes. So good! Will use non-stick pan next time though
