2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks 1 lb, skinless chicken breasts Sea salt + pepper 2 cloves garlic, minced ½ C chopped red onion 1 C unsweetened apple sauce 2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp cumin ½ tsp ground ginger Layer sweet potatoes chicken breasts in bottom of crock pot season w/ SP. In a small bowl, mix garlic, red onion, apple sauce, cider vinegar, cumin, ginger.Pour over chicken potatoes. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until chicken sweet potatoes are tender.

Maple and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin in the crockpot. -- 1st ever crockpot meal, definitely had potential except i burnt it to a blackened crisp! luckily the inside was still salvageable so i made it into a pulled pork maple bbq. still delicious but not what it was originally intended to be. will try again later.
