All-Natural Moisturizing Lemon Kitchen Hand Scrub: A great homemade gift to make during naptime! 1 1/2 c sugar 1/3 c kosher salt zest of 1 extra large lemon (or other citrus) 1 c olive oil 1/4 tsp pure lemon extract, optional Directions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. If you would like a slightly stronger fragrance, add the extract. Spoon into a pretty jar, tighten the lid. Wipe any spills or drips from the outside of the jar. Alternatively, you can use orange or lime zest for a different fresh citrus smell. For an extra touch, tie a pretty bow around the jar if you plan to gift this scrub. This makes enough for a 1 pint canning jar.

Homemade Sugar Scrub (Christmas gift idea)...made it tonite! Very easy & I had all of the ingredients already on hand...there's no real measurements, so I just tested it out (on my hands) until I found the best results...my hands are very soft! I have little jars from the dollar store & I plan to make personalized labels, & dress them up w/ bows, ribbons, string, etc.....**Update : I make & use this All the time..I love it :) I've given it as an add-on gift to a friend already & she loved it too

seasalt scrub, just made it and it works lovely. And also very effective if you want to shave your legs. First scrub and then shave. No shaving cream needed :-)

Homemade Sugar Scrub Recipes. I have two jars of the Almond Oil & Vanilla scrub and it is amaaaazing!! Your hands smell like gingerbread and are sooo soft all day!

Equal parts brown sugar and white sugar (ends up being about 1/4 cup each for a 6 oz. jar) Fill to the top with olive oil (cover the sugars and then maybe an extra 1/2 inch)Add about 1-2 Tbs of vanilla extract for some yummy flavor. You could also add essential oils, but that is a little pricier

Ingredients 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup mineral oil, olive oil or coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla Instructions 1.Combine the sugars in a medium sized bowl. Mix in the mineral oil and vanilla and stir until combined. Once you have your sugar scrub you can place it in baby food containers or mason jars. I have tons of baby food jars, so I used those. :)

Heavenly Coconut Sugar Scrub. Nothing Smells better Than This.

Mary Kay's Satin Hands is my very favorite hand scrub. I use it frequently, especially in the winter but sometimes I don't want to spend 34 dollars on it. I recently found that this hand scrub recipe works just as well. I'm giving it away as Mother's Day gifts this year along with a bottle of Sally Hansen's All In One Manicure and a little tube of Nivea Soft Moisturizing Creme.

Olive Oil & Lemon sugar scrub -- I actually made this today to replace my store bought sugar scrub, we'll see how it goes :) - AH
