Make a child's birthday extra fun. For each year of their age, blow up a balloon with a dollar bill in it. Let them pop the balloons and watch their $$ flutter down.

Creative Ways to Give Money as a Gift! I love messing with my nieces and nephews who prefer money in lieu of a gift, so this will be perfect for Christmas!

YES PLEASE Money Balloons - a cool way to present money as a gift, esp for a young person (as opposed to a boring check in a card). I have a friend whose parents blow up a balloon and put a one dollar bill in it and have the number of balloons for how old their kid is on their birthday and then after they open their presents they can pop open the balloon and get their $. very cute.

confetti balloons - use a funnel to add 1/4 cup confetti to balloon, then blow up or add helium. If for NYE party, pop balloons at midnight. Don't use metallic confetti (harder to clean up). Use construction paper/cardstock hole punch for cheap confetti.

Box of money - better than a box of chocolates! haha This would be awesome to give!

Giving money as gifts, paint the paper with water colors and wrap in twine so that none of the money gets torn. Put layers to make it fun: one layer is a card, then they open the next layer and it is candy or small bills, and when they finally get to the last layer of paper, it is the big bills!
