Sauteed Shrimp: Made this for the third time tonight and have decided it's one of the best recipes I have ever made (which doesn't actually really say a whole lot!). Instead of parsley, I wilt a few handfuls of spinach in the sauce before adding the shrimp back to the pan, just for added nutrition. The bland name of the recipe doesn't do it justice. :)

Spicy Garlic Shrimp - Definitely save this for your "under 30 minutes" category. Fabulous for a quick, light evening meal that won't leave you feeling weighed down. It is spicy, garlicky, tangy, and then balanced by the sweetness of the sugar snap peas and roasted tomatoes. Step-by-step photo tutorial.

Note to myself. Chipotle powder instead of chili flakes and 1 sugar in the raw packet instead of brown sugar

Spicy Barbecued Shrimp Skewers from FoodNetwork.com. So worth it. If you don't want it too spicy, you can cut down the heat by eliminating the jalapeno and/or adjusting the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. Goes nicely with the Black Bean Relish recipe that follows. Add an ear of corn on the cob...yummy!
