How to DIY your own mercury glass. I can't decide if I like mercury glass or if it's too trendy. Doing it myself at least cuts the $$ pain if I decide later it was too trendy for me.

This could be done with different shades of the same color to create an ombre effect. I need to make this!

DIY Mercury Glass Finish Easily give a plain glass vase the lustrous look of mercury glass. Simply spritz the inside of a glass vase with water -- some of the water will bead, and some will run down inside the vase. While the vase's interior is still wet, spray it with a coat of Krylon Looking Glass spray paint. Let dry before spraying another coat. The finished texture is a "mirror" image of mercury glass and will add sparkle to any table setting

DIY bracelet. Made a similar one to the one in the bottom right corner, it almost never leaves my wrist.

I see these old paintings at goodwill all the time that are not really my style but I hate the idea of them going to waste. This is a great way to use those paintings and keep the original art but flare it up for your own home!
