Day 22: I made this last week for company, and forgot to post until now. Everyone really liked it, and it is very easy. It reminds me of a dish at Ruby Tuesday, Church Street Chicken, that my husband and I really liked until they took it off the menu.
BROWN SUGAR GARLIC CHICKEN - 4-5 chicken breasts, cut - 1 cup packed brown sugar - 2/3 cup vinegar - 1/4 cup Sprite or 7-Up soda - 2 -3 tbls minced garlic - 2 tbls soy sauce - 1 tsp (regular black or cayenne) Place chicken in crock pot. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
