Different way of doing melted crayon art: Place crayons in a pattern or 'drawing' and then melt for more interesting shapes instead of the usual drip * need to do this with the kids *

DIY - draw a picture with white crayon on white paper and then watercolor over it.

Not a huge fan of artsy things but I thought this was too cool & so cute!

The crayons are lined up along the edge and melted on a foam board using a heat gun. Specific heat is applied for the desired outcome of several defined drips. There is direct dripping from the crayon pieces that extends through the lower third of the board, with some drips extending all the way to the bottom. Wrappers are left on this piece to emphasized the melting of the crayons.

Take a plain wax # candle & turn it into a birthday crafting masterpiece... I'm filing this idea under, "Why didn't I think of that?"

#1- Great idea! #2-Hmm. Someone did a REALLY nice job on these. For me, the screw top needs to be hidden, My ocd says NO NO! Could do beaded trim, embroidered ribbon, embossed metal strip, strand of pearls wrapped round & round, etc. Beautiful!

Really great kids craft idea! and a great way of using up old bits of crayon. So why not make a sun-melted candle?
