Colored dough makes for Autumn Splendor cookies!! Use your own cookie recipe and use food coloring to make various shades of the dough, then blend some together and roll out, then cut with leaf cookie cutters!!
These are AWESOME! Roll out sugar cookie dough into a thin line (dough will spread when baking), score at "knuckles" and apply an almond shard at the tip. Bake as directed. Brush cooled cookies with a little cocoa-powder to add contrast!
