Dollar store photo albums… Turn them into flashcard fun! Easy to write and wipe, just insert what you are working on. You could even just insert white paper and have them work on writing sight words, so many ways to use them!

I taught this! Cut squares of paper, write numbers 1-12 on them, make two hands from paper and place all pieces in a clasp-envelope and students arrange their own "clocks".

Roll, Write, Tally and Show can be used during center time or in small group. This activity helps students to recognize numbers on a dice as well as different ways to represent the number. Helps students to improve number sense of numbers 1-6.

Students have to write in a log every time they do not turn in their homework on time and explain themselves. This helps teachers keep track of how many times the same student does not do his/her homework, makes students think about why they did not do their homework, and establishes accountability.
