Want to make your own jam, but intimidated of the canning process? Don’t worry, here’s an easy way to make your jam and preserve it all year. We’re going to make freezer jam! What’s great about this method is that it does not take any fancy equipment, so anyone can do it!
Strawberry Jam in Crockpot Recipe 2 lbs of strawberries all cut up 4 cups white sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice (I think to keep them looking red) Crockpot, high setting, 2-4 hours depending on size of strawberries. After to hours mash the strawberries. This is brilliant, I can't wait to try it!

By doing so, you earn a bunch of protein, omega-3s and minerals on the way. You could replace the liquid stevia with agave syrup --it would still maintains a low glycemic index.
