DIY Christmas gift: hot chocolate. This is one of my favorite gifts to give to co-workers. I make a batch of hot cocoa mix, throw in some candies, chocolate pieces and marshmallows and tie it up pretty with a chocolate covered spoon. It is always a hit.

Holiday Stitch-along Ornament Hot Chocolate - betz white

Hot chocolate on a spoon! Simply melt dark or milk chocolate chips, a spoonful of Nutella. When chocolate starts to harden place a wooden spoon in the top and add a cute tag or ribbon. Heat your preferred milk, or non-dairy milk, and add the chocolate on a spoon. As the chocolate melts it will make a yummy hot chocolate. *Opt: add a drop or two of flavored extract (such as peppermint or a dash of cinnamon) when you melt the chocolate to make a variety of flavors.

Hot Cocoa Kit ~ Did this for Christmas gifts from the kids to their grandparents, aunts and uncles, and teachers. Turned out really well, but was more expensive than I realized it would be. Still, people loved it and the kids were really happy.
