Outdoor Christmas tree: upside tomato cage and christmas lights

    • Melanie MacGregor

DIY Christmas tree – just wrap lights around a tomato cage! (3’ to 6’, < $4) Indoors or for the front porch! Place it into a pot w/ soil for a traditional look, or just leave it as is. If you place in a pot, use metal wires or old clothes hangers – bend pieces to secure the cage in. Wrap garland in a spiral to cover the cage, then decorate w/ Christmas lights and ornaments!

Grape Christmas Tree! Going to do this with a "cheese cone". Like a cheese ball but shaped into a cone. It could have chips and crackers surrounding the bottom or even in the tree. (Hubby's idea)
