WE WATCHED THIS HAPPEN LAST SUMMER! EXCEPT IT WAS NIGHT TIME! THEY MADE US TURN OUR HOUSE LIGHTS OFF SO THE BSBY TURTLES DID NOT GET CONFUSED ABOUT WHERE THE MOONLIGHT WAS! We r in Rosemary Beach fl. And the nests are all up and down the beaches on 30A. It is a miracle to watch for sure. Those little babies gig their way out of the sand and KNOW which direction to head to the surf! Out of the 1000's that hatch only a few make it out to deep sea! Miracle of Life! Previous!

At 3 years old, he has visible muscle atrophy on his head and an "off gait" with his rear legs. The Meridian Valley Humane Society also noticed he had abnormal thirst and after testing at the vets, it was determined he has diabetes insipidus. Thankfully, the diabetes is manageable with desmopressin, which he will now need to take for the rest of his life. Thankfully the medication is not an expensive one.

one time when I was snorkling I tired to grab on to a turtle because I new they were slow, but I forgot they were fast in water... lol
