    What a great children's project. The kids traced their hands (about 8 of them on yellow construction paper) and cut them out for the petals. Crumpled tissue paper for the center and it's all glued onto a paper plate. Love it! I could think of a new start to the year bulletin board where most of the flower with each kids name is put up ahead of time. Perfect for Kansas!

Sunflowers Sculptures You'll need: Paper plates in various colors (I vote PINK!), cupcake papers also in various colors (I vote pastel polka dots!) & green crepe paper, safety scissors, glue sticks. And viola!! We have BIG beautiful flowers to pin on the girls' art wall :o) L❤VE this idea!!!

VERDICT: Fun Cute. We did not do ties for the top because of time constraints and we used colored paper not burlap. Still...nice! Thanksgiving craft...we wrote what we were thankful for on each feather/finger. Kindergarten Art Project.

Preschooler: Hand print Duck. Give paint to children and show them how to put their hand on the paper. Allow them to put the head, eye, beak and feather on the duck.
