Jennifer, but they technically are princesses, because to be a princess you must be the daughter of a king [aurora (a.k.a. sleeping beauty, some people don't even know her name!), Snow White (her daddy died and evil step mom forced her into work, sound familiar?), Jasmine, etc.] or you have to marry a prince (Cinderella, Tiana, etc.). Jane, Alice, and Mulan do not marry princes (thank god in Alice's case. She's like, eight in her first movie) and are not daughters of kings. And I don't know if Meg would count as a princess. In Disney's version, he is the son of the king and queen of the gods (Zeus and Hera) and she marries him. But in the old Greek myth, Hercules was a demigod, his father was Zeus, but his mother was human. And Hera often tried to kill him

And Mulan is to BA to be a princess. Merida should have been a warrior like her. Could you imagine fighting against her? She'd be hiding in some tree picking you off one by one!
