Raw Caramel Sauce / Frosting - I love healthy alternatives. We did apples dipped in this and it was good. It still has lots of sugars, even if they are good, so eat with prudence. I didn't have raw almond butter or date paste. Replaced with blanched almond slices and date pieces soaked in 1/4 cup water for 1/2 hour.
#paleo Raw Cashew Butter: 500g raw cashews (about 3 ½ cups); ½ tsp vanilla powder*; ½ tsp Himalayan or fine sea salt | VANILLA POWDER: "To make the vanilla powder, what I do is I keep all my scraped vanilla beans and leave them to out to dry. When I have about a dozen or so, I grind them in my coffee grinder along with 2 or 3 whole vanilla beans and turn that into a vanilla powder."
