Cute hair cut!

"You know, my hair is very upsetting to people, but it's upsetting on purpose. It is important to look old so that the young will not be afraid of dying. People don't like old women. We don't honor age in our society, and we certainly don't honor it in Hollywood." -Tyne Daly #TyneDaly #Aging #Death

"We need to turn off the wrinkle cream ads, stop dousing our heads in dye, and start looking in the mirror to tell ourselves we’re beautiful. Those gray hairs you’re starting to see? They’re amazing. Those laugh lines you always look for in photos? They’re wonderful. You are a ravishing Queen in your own right and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise! So smile, laugh, ham it up for the camera and know that your joy is more beautiful than boxed color or Botox could ever be." ~Lauren Richwine

Julie Walters says she has gone grey gracefully: 'Everyone says they love it, so I've kept it. Frankly, it's great not to have to dye my roots every five minutes, which my dear mum did into her 70's"

Click through to reach the blog Rock The Silver. Donna writes about what it is like to stop coloring your hair and let it be the color it is (gray). She also writes about being a cancer survivor, a career woman and a woman in her 50s. I like how she writes and enjoy reading her blog.

Still strolling together...

with such a smile...

A short discussion in the sea. Friends this will someday be us. Enjoy life as much as you can.-

A mother (97 years old) in China, feeding and taking care of her paralysed son (60 years old) everyday for more than 19 years. A reminder of the amazing spirit of human compassion and more importantly, motherly love!!

Husband, 100, and wife, 99, who have been together 82 years. They meld together as the years weave their lives together creating a unified whole making each richer and stronger and more fully human. How sweet.
