    Great classroom organization tip! Put bulletin board numbers or words on large rings--everything flips. No more boxes/files to store extra numbers or words. Make a few blank cards on the rings too, so you can change things up when necessary. There are a few good ideas here.

Daily Number Exercise---My Version. I tried this out with the kids today, and made up a permanent poster. I already love it! Inspired by another pin:

Free Daily calendar notebook- wow! this is so extensive I can't believe it's free. This is wonderful math practice for first graders and could allow a homeschooling mama some time to get a little housework or breakfast prep done in the morning :)

MAKE THE DATE: This is from our old calendar board. I just added a strip of velcro onto it so that we can display the date in coins. For example, on the photo to the left it is April 28th. So, there is 28 cents displayed on the board. Notice the extra coins hanging on a strip of velcro on the side. FYI, there are velcro dots on the back of the coins so that the kids can practice with real money.
