This stunning unknown gold-toned cigarette case features a wonderfully intricate glass enamel floral on the top cover. The enamel design melds a vivid palette of melded colors set upon a stark, black background bounded within an understated deco frame. This case carries no manufacturer marks or definitive means of dating it, but I think it was probably made in the 1950s or 1960s. If you're a non-smoker, this elegant case also works perfectly for cash, IDs, business cards, etc. The case hinge mechanism is in perfect working order, it closes tightly. The inside spring clip meant to keep cigarettes in place is good and strong. The case is in beautiful vintage condition, showing only subtle surface wear to its gold plating and enamel design. It holds 10 standard size cigarettes. External dimensions: 4-1/4" wide x 2-5/8" deep x 1/2" thick. Shipping cost is for delivery in a USPS Small-Size Priority Mail box.
